Ryanair's new French fancy
BUDGET airline Ryanair has announced a new service between Edinburgh and Bordeaux.
The low-cost carrier operates the route to the French city from Edinburgh Airport on 10 March.
The airline's Ken O'Toole said: "Ryanair is delighted to join up with Bordeaux Airport to finally bring really low fares, competition and choice to consumers.
"Ryanair's partnership with Bordeaux will create a flood of visitors to the region. We expect to carry 200,000 passengers in the first year, which should sustain 200 new jobs around Bordeaux."
