Roads set to go one-way

A NETWORK of roads in North Berwick will be converted into one-way systems under temporary plans by East Lothian Council.

Approval has been given to introduce one-way traffic as well as parking restrictions and waiting, loading and unloading alterations.

The streets affected are: School Road, East Road and Melbourne Road. The changes have been made to ensure safe pedestrian and vehicle movements during a revamp of the town’s library. The restrictions will be in place until Sunday, January 12, 2014.
