RNLI launch a first for Scots

SCOTLAND’S first lifeboat souvenir shop has opened in Dunbar as part of fundraising drive for the local station and wider fleet.

Only goods from the RNLI’s merchandise range will be sold in the High Street store in a unique venture pioneered by the East Lothian crew.

Ken Headley, Dunbar honorary souvenir secretary, said: “This is the first time the institution has taken a lease on a high street shop in Scotland and we are committed to being here for a number of years.”
