GRAMPIAN Police are investigating a report that a skimming device may have been attached to an ATM at the Tesco store on Nairn Road in Forres.

A force spokeswoman said: “ Damage to the ATM suggests that between 22 January and 6 February, a skimming device may have been attached, or an attempt was made to attach one.

“No reports have been received so far of any users of the cash point being left out of pocket as a result, but officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the ATM”

She added: If anyone has any concerns about the security of their account, or any suspicious activity, then they should contact their bank for further information.”
