Rebecca’s on song again

The singer who won last year’s Edinburgh’s Got Talent competition has scooped another award.

Rebecca Traynor, 15, has been named Musselburgh Rotary Club’s Young Musician of the Year.

Rebecca sang Pie Jesu at the contest held of the chapel of Loretto School in Musselburgh.

The Musselburgh Grammar pupil has now won both the junior and senior section of the competition.

She said: “I’m so happy. It’s not very common for people to win both categories – it’s never happened at my school before.”

Rebecca won the News’ Edinburgh’s Got Talent contest after wowing the audience with her performance of Bring Me To Life by Katherine Jenkins.
