Pupils scoop design prizes
TWO Lothians pupils have won a prestigious competition to design the official logo for Malaria Awareness Week.
Beth Cameron, from East Lothian, will have her design featured in National Geographic after she won the right to have her design used as the main symbol of the week.
Edinburgh's Robert Dick was the regional winner and overall runner-up in the contest, which was staged by the magazine and attracted thousands of votes.
Beth, from Gullane, said: "I am so excited that my design is going to be used."
