Pupils meet top author

YOUNG fans of the renowned author of teenage fiction, Jonathan Meres, have enjoyed an up close and personal meeting with the writer.

Boys in their first year at Stewart’s Melville College met Mr Meres as he launched his latest novel in the successful The World of Norm series, May Contain Gas.

Mr Meres delivered a talk at the school’s Tom Fleming Performing Arts Centre before the boys were given an opportunity to quiz him on how he became a successful author.
