Pupils faced cop clean-up

POLICE have staged a crackdown on littering outside a city high school following complaints by residents.

Pupils at Craigmount High School in East Craigs were blamed for dropping litter outside the Craigs Road campus.

Police officers and the council’s environmental wardens carried out extra patrols in the area to target the problem while pupils did an art project aimed at highlighting the issue.

Posters warning about litter and dog mess were also put up.
