Protesters in Forth Bridge ‘land grab’

OXFAM campaigners staged a “land grab” at the Forth Bridge in a bid to draw public awareness to the global rush for land.

A host of other UK landmarks were also “grabbed”, with signs erected at the White Cliffs of Dover, the Angel of the North and the Abbey Road zebra crossing.

The charity claims land grabs leave poor people in developing countries, homeless and without access to the land they rely on for food to eat and to make a living.
