Protest over Israeli visit

Protesters are set to gather at Edinburgh University tomorrow during a visit by Israeli ambassador Daniel Taub.

The demonstration, organised by Edinburgh Students for Justice in Palestine, We Are All Hana Shalabi Network and the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, will begin at 4pm in Bristo Square.

The groups believe Mr Taub should not be on campus after appearing to support the use of illegal white phosphorus against Gaza Strip citizens.
