Probe after body is found in park

An INVESTIGATION has been launched after the body of a man was found in a park in Glasgow.

Strathclyde Police said that the unidentified remains were discovered in Bellahouston Park, in the south side of the city, at about 8:50am yesterday.

The man’s death is being treated as unexplained and police are currently carrying out inquiries. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out in the coming days.
