Post office set for relocation
POSTAL bosses have agreed to relocate a Lothian office to new premises with more modern facilities.
An announcement has been made to close Gorebridge Post Office, on 17 Main Street, to reopen it at number 23.
Brian Turnbull, field change advisor with Post Office Ltd, said: "We intend to relocate this branch to improve facilities to our customers and to help safeguard Post Office services in the long-term.
The new post office will include a purpose built serving counter and a ramp.
Relocation is planned for December and any feedback is invited by Post Office Ltd by 26 November.
