Politicians host coffee morning for Macmillan
TWO Labour politicians will host a coffee morning on Friday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Edinburgh North & Leith Labour MP Mark Lazarowicz and his Holyrood counterpart Malcolm Chisholm hope people will drop in to Vittoria's restaurant, on Leith Walk, at the junction with Brunswick Street, between 10:30am and 11:30am.
Mr Lazarowicz said: "In the UK one in three people are affected by cancer and two million have cancer or have experienced it.
"Macmillan Cancer Support is there for people from the moment they are diagnosed, with medical and practical help, as well as emotional and financial support."
The event is part of Macmillan's World Largest Coffee Morning campaign.
