Police raid finds drugs

A WOMAN was caught by police storing cannabis in her home with a maximum street value of £1200, a court has heard.

Kerry Ann Galbraith, 33, was arrested after her home in Carrick Knowe Parkway was raided on December 8, 2011.

Yesterday, Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard how officers found cannabis resin and £5 worth of Diazepam during the raid.

The court heard how the cannabis could have netted Galbraith anywhere between £290 to £1200.

Galbraith pleaded guilty to two charges of being involved in the supply of drugs. Sentence was deferred for background reports.
