Police on time and on target
POLICE responded to 83 per cent of emergencies in the Capital within ten minutes, new figures have shown.
Officers dealt with 9955 emergency incidents between April and December. The average response time for an emergency in the Capital was seven minutes and 33 seconds.
In East Lothian and Midlothian, the average response was nine minutes and five seconds, while in West Lothian the figure was nine minutes and 46 seconds.
