Plenty of fun
litter picking

MORE than 1000 green-fingered volunteers took part in litter-picks across East Lothian to mark the National Spring Clean this year.

Run by Keep Scotland Beautiful, groups from community councils, schools, student volunteer groups, youth groups, businesses, environmental trusts, council staff and churches all donned yellow tabards and spent time cleaning up different areas.

As a result, 33 public spaces, villages and town centres in East Lothian will be litter free for summer.
