Plans released for new £60m Angus golf resort

PLANS for a luxury golf course on the outskirts of Dundee have been unveiled today by developers.

The Angus, which will be built at Kingennie, Broughty Ferry, will cost £60m to develop and will feature a five star hotel plus

a leisure complex, spa and lodge-style accommodation.

The 18-hole championship golf course has been designed by reigning Open Champion Darren Clarke.

The initial plans for were approved by Angus Council in November 2010.

The new facility could create 200 full-time jobs after completion, with 300 posts generated during construction.
