Pizzeria tastes award success for deliveries
A CITY pizzeria has scooped an award thanks to thinking small over its home deliveries.
La Favorita uses a fleet of Minis to allow it to whiz around homes and businesses with pizza orders.
This has now helped the Edinburgh restaurant pick up the platinum award for Best Independent Delivery Service for the second year running in the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association (PAPA) awards.
Tony Crolla, proprietor of La Favorita on Leith Walk, said: "We are delighted our high standards have helped La Favorita secure a second platinum win.
"The fact that this award comes on the back of the restaurant's recent AA Rosette win is an added bonus."
