Pilley murderer has date for his appeal

A PRE-CHRISTMAS date has been fixed for an appeal by David Gilroy, the man convicted of murdering Edinburgh book-keeper Suzanne Pilley, and disposing of her body.

The hearing will take place on 20 December at the Court of Criminal Appeal in Edinburgh.

Gilroy, 50, was found guilty of murdering Ms Pilley, 38, on 4 May, 2010
