Photo-shoot models appeal after robbery
POLICE today appealed for help in tracing a group of photographers and models who were taking part in a photo-shoot at the spot where a man was robbed at knife-point.
The 28-year-old victim was heading along the Water of Leith walkway at Coburg Street at around 5:15pm on Monday when he was attacked.
The victim was approached from behind by a man who grabbed him around the neck and pulled out a knife.
The man was robbed of his personal belongings before the suspect made off.
The suspect is described as white, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a dark hooded top and spoke with a local accent.
Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the photographers and models involved in a photo-shoot under the bridge at Great Junction Street, near to where the incident took place.
