Pharmacist accused over crude remarks

A PHARMACIST who tried to make a colleague touch his stomach told a hearing he wanted to show her that he worked out.

Khalil Jamil is accused at the General Pharmaceutical Council of making crude remarks towards three of his colleagues and asking one about the sexual habits of her horses.

The chemist allegedly targeted his first victim, referred to only as CH, while working at the Cooperative Pharmacy in Fauldhouse, West Lothian, on July 18, 2009. All three women described Jamil as making them feel very apprehensive about working with him alone on a shift. Jamil admits the incidents took place, but denies his actions were sexually motivated. If found guilty of misconduct he could be kicked out of the profession.

The hearing continues.
