Painters up
for big prize

THREE Capital painters are in the running for Scotland’s
biggest art prize.

Amy Dennis, Catharine Davison and Ruth Nicol have all been shortlisted in the £25,000 top prize Jolomo Bank of Scotland Awards.

Founded by Argyll artist John Lowrie Morrison, one of Scotland’s leading artists, the awards recognise the best in Scottish landscape painting.

The winners will be announced in Glasgow on
June 19.
