Opening doors for St Andrew
MORE than 60 of Scotland's top tourist sites will open free of charge on St Andrew's Day, it emerged yesterday.
They range from Edinburgh Castle to remote sites such as Arnol Black House, Lewis.
The move is part of the Scottish Government's efforts to transform 30 November into a broad celebration of the country's history and culture.
Alex Salmond, the First Minister, has already unveiled a series of events across the country.
