Open day is for the birds
THE Scottish Wildlife Trust will hold a free open day at Bawsinch and Duddingston Wildlife Reserve Sunday.
From the comfort of Holyrood Park's Connel Hide, visitors can spot such Duddingston Loch birds as water rail, great crested grebe and mute swan.
Julian Warman, SWT's reserve manager for Edinburgh, said: "This free day will be a great experience for those who enjoy being out in the great outdoors and exploring nature." The open day runs from 11-4pm.
