Officers issue bike warning

POLICE have issued a warning to mini-moto users after receiving a spate of complaints.

Residents have reported concerns over mini-motos and motorbikes in the Craigshill and Deans areas of Livingston, as well as East Calder.

Officers issued a reminder to mini-motos users that the vehicles have to be taxed, insured, and the rider must be aged 16 or over and hold a licence. Riders also have to wear an approved crash helmet before the vehicles can be used on public roads.
