boxing legend Ken Buchanan was left on the ropes by staff at a city salon when he launched his autobiography.

The one-time undisputed world lightweight champion struggled to get out from his corner while he was given a trim at Glam Barbers on Easter Road – billed as “the Hooters of hairdressing”.

The book – Adopted Legend – tells the story of Ken’s life and career.

Edinburgh-born Ken’s chapters kept glamorous girls Emma Fielding, Kristina Love and Eurola De Vere captivated as they gave him a short back and sides.
