A NEW restaurant in the West End has cooked up a Scottish/Nordic theme for its menu.

The 60-seater Edinburgh Larder Bistro in Alva Street is offering dishes like brown crab, sweet cicely, and apple with a tomato and shellfish oil.

Thee owners are also putting their money where their mouth is with their Pay What You Want scheme, available via the website for a limited time.

Co-owner, Joanne Hannah, said: “We’ve been absolutely thrilled with the feedback since we opened our doors. People have responded really well to our quirky menu.”
