No welcome for oldest swingers in New Town
A SOCIALITE planning to bring swinging parties to Edinburgh has hit back at critics.
Emma Sayle, reportedly a close friend of Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton, has hit back at politicians and residents who oppose her plans to bring her saucy business to the New Town area of the city, it was reported today.
Lothians Independent MSP Margo MacDonald said: "I would welcome this as much as the hen nights and vomiting parties that come to Edinburgh."
But Ms Sayle – whose company Killing Kittens runs high society swinging parties and has attracted 6500 members, including footballers, actors and models, since it launched in London three years ago – said that under the club's strict rules, those complaining would not be permitted anyway.
She said: "It's not like they're my ideal demographic so I don't really care. They're not invited. They're probably over the age of 45 and ugly."
The club restricts membership to the beautiful and wealthy, with one in three applicants refused and hundreds of people on a waiting list.
Despite the opposition, Ms Sayleadded: "My opinion is no-one's getting hurt, no-one's getting cheated on, everyone's being respected, so there's nothing to worry about."
