No messing as dog owners urged to clean up
A DAY of campaigning is set to take place in Leith to urge irresponsible dog owners to clean up after their pets.
The event is being held at Dalmeny Park on Sunday as part of the No Messing campaign.
It will kick-off with a mass clean-up of the park.
Leith and Leith Walk are consistently found to be two of the dirtiest wards in the city by council cleanliness surveys, with Leith recently coming bottom of the table. Dog fouling is often cited as one of the key problems.
Volunteers are able to show up on the day to help from 1pm.
