Singing sensation Nina Nesbitt is set to go back to school to record part of her debut album.

Former Barnton High pupil Nina, who is working on tracks with Brit-nominated producer Jake Gosling, will be visiting ten secondary schools across the UK and recording roughly 5000 pupils taking part in a chant at the end of aptly-named song The People.

Nina said: “We’re going to go to Balerno High, which is my old school. I couldn’t miss that one out. But other than that I’m not entirely sure right now, though I know there are certain cities we will be visiting.

“We just want to get as many people involved as possible. I’ll also be getting people who have worked on the album and people I’m close to in my personal life to record it.”
