Newsagent
duo hunted

TWO men are being hunted after cash and cigarettes were stolen during a break-in at a newsagent.

Police were called early on Friday morning by a dog walker, who discovered a door at RS McColl, in Calder Road, had been forced open.

The robbery came in the week cigarettes were taken in another raid at the store.

Detectives said they were examining CCTV footage from the newsagent and were keeping an open mind on whether the two break-ins were linked.

They said they were looking for two men of stocky build, one wearing a black hooded jumper, the other in light blue.
