New boost for Scotsman.com
SCOTSMAN.COM, The Scotsman online, has become the seventh most visited news website in the UK.
The internet traffic company Hitwise has revealed that Scotsman.com was ahead of online competitors such as ft.com, published by the Financial Times, and in the UK's top ten of print news websites for 2006.
Scotsman.com was voted best daily newspaper website in the 2006 Newspaper Society Awards and has seen its page impressions rise by 7 per cent year-on-year to 22,289,152. Monthly unique users have risen 35 per cent year-on-year to 3.8 million.
