New loans to help business
A NEW loan-funding scheme has been set up in West Lothian to help local businesses.
The West Lothian Loan Fund offers gap funding of up to 30,000 to support small and medium sized firms.
The fund will be operated by West Lothian Enterprise and eligible projects include new products/services, new manufacturing processes, quality improvements and new e-commerce systems.
Martyn Day, the council's development and transport leader, said: "The new loan fund will be of great benefit to the local business community."
