New facility makes waves

Scotland’s first cable waterski and wakeboard park in Foxlake, East Lothian opened to the public today.

Already having tried out the attraction are some of the UK’s top professional wakeboarders, including Rococo Rail Tour champion Lee Debuse.

Wakeboarding is the fastest growing watersport in the world and is set to be shortlisted as a 2020 Olympic sport.

Foxlake, at Hedderwick, near Dunbar, plans to expand into two further lakes next year.
