Nessie to join gala day fun
A GIANT fundraising Loch Ness monster was set to take part in the Ratho Children's Gala day today.
The 12ft-high Nessie will be held aloft by four supporters, who have already taken her around the Great Winter run and the Meadows half marathon.
The team plan to run eight races this year, culminating in the Chicago Marathon in October.
They hope their efforts will raise 25,000 for Cancer Research UK, and Scottish Love in Action (SLA), which supports destitute children in India.
