Nervous BGT dogs cause a wee problem

BRITAIN’S Got Talent bosses faced a messy problem backstage during the Edinburgh auditions.

Filming was reported to have been continually held up by several nervous canines who were caught short as they waited to take the stage at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre.

Frustrated judges, including Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, were forced to wait as the dog mess was cleared.

Meanwhile, Cowell helped out a distressed dad-to-be after his wife went into labour early.

Sound recordist John Hagenstede, who had travelled up to Edinburgh for the auditions, received a call from girlfriend Lisa Stewart, in Surrey, to say the baby was on the way.

When Cowell heard of the predicament, he invited John to make a quick dash to Edinburgh Airport to jump on his private jet. Daughter Jude was born at 1.12am yesterday.

Couldn't Simon and Amanda have lent a hand clearing up?
