Murder police submit report
DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a Polish man in Leith have submitted a report to the procurator fiscal.
The body of Maciej Ciania, 34, was found on Saturday, January 14, in his flat in Dickson Street after he had suffered a “violent and brutal” death.
Police are continuing to try to trace 25-year-old Grzegorz Gamla, also from Poland, in connection with his death.
Mr Ciania’s Lithuanian flatmate was the last person to see him alive on Thursday, January 12 before going away and returning to find the body in their flat on the Saturday.
