Motorway bus blaze brings traffic chaos

COMMUTERS faced long delays and tailbacks on the M8 last night after a bus caught fire near Livingston.

Firefighters were called to the scene and the east-bound carriage closed, around 7:25pm with traffic diverted on to Carnegie Road.

A Lothian and Borders Fire Brigade spokesman said that there were no casualties involved.
