More trains between Edinburgh and Dunbar

MORE train services are to run between the Capital and Dunbar from this weekend.

On-the-hour services will leave Waverley – stopping at Musselburgh – from Saturday after ScotRail joined forces with rival operators East Coast and CrossCountry. Under the new timetables, a train will leave Edinburgh for Dunbar every hour between 9am and 7pm on Saturdays.

East Lothian Council transport spokesman Councillor Michael Veitch said: “I welcome the new train services especially at this time of the year.”
