Missing pensioner’s body found in wood
A BODY found in woods in Perthshire is thought to be that of a missing pensioner.
Elizabeth Stevenson, 77, from Pitlochry, was reported missing on 21 February.
Police said a body had been found by a walker in woods near Overton of Finab, Pitlochry, yesterday morning.
A spokesman said: “Although the circumstances do not appear to be suspicious, the death is unexplained and a thorough investigation is taking place.”
