Meeting goes swimmingly

THE provost of Midlothian Council has met Paralympian Sean Fraser to praise his summer exploits in the pool.

The pair were introduced at Fraser’s local pool in Loanhead where he told about his experience competing at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Fraser crossed the finish line in fifth place three times while also finishing sixth in the 100m butterfly and seventh in the 100m freestyle.

Sean won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
