Marshall retires after pivotal QMU stint

THE vice-principal of Queen Margaret University has retired after more than two decades at the university.

Rosalyn Marshall will be best remembered for leading the university’s Re:Locate project, which saw the former QMU
College move from an ageing estate at Corstorphine, and several smaller sites in Edinburgh, to a single purpose-built campus in
Musselburgh.

This work was acknowledged with a First Class Honours Award in the People and Planet
Green League 2012, which recognises environmental performance. QMU principal Petra Wend said: “Rosalyn’s clear vision for the university and her
gift for seeing opportunities have, amongst her
other outstanding abilities, contributed greatly to QMU’s success.

“She will be very much missed.”
