Marchers take the high road
PRIDE Scotia, Scotland's Annual LGBT event, has announced a high profile route for Saturday's Pride March in Edinburgh.
Marchers will assemble at noon outside the City Chambers where there will be speeches from politicians and community leaders.
It will then will move down the Royal Mile, past the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace before heading around to Calton Square beside the Omni Centre.
Pride Scotia chairman John Hein said: "Although we've been trying to confirm a route for over a year, we've been frustrated by Edinburgh's tram works."
