Marathon ale off to good start
BREWER Jo Stewart celebrates the launch of a limited edition Edinburgh Marathon ale at Musselburgh's Levenhall Arms.
The businesswoman – who ran the London Marathon last year – has opted for a less energetic training session for this year's event in the Capital.
She and her husband Steve, owners of Stewart Brewing, based at Bilston Glen Industrial Estate, have instead created a thirst-quenching ale for runners taking part in the event.
Jo said: "We have now pulled the first pint and it tastes delicious – a real full-bodied, full-flavoured classic beer."
Edinburgh Marathon Ale went on sale yesterday.
