Man found dead is named
A MAN found dead in a house in Elgin has been named by police.
The body of Steven Eddie, 40, was found at a property in North Street on Monday evening.
As of yesterday, police did not know the cause of his death or when he died.
A spokesman said: “Mr Eddie was found deceased within his home address on North Street, New Elgin, shortly after 6pm on Monday. Since then, officers have been conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances.
“The cause of the death is not known at this time and officers are treating it as unexplained whilst further inquiries are conducted. Officers have visited a number of addresses in the New Elgin area in an attempt to piece together Mr Eddie’s final movements.”
