Man arrested over shotgun incident at Cumbernauld police station
Police have lauched an investigation
A MAN has been arrested in Cumbernauld after going to a police station, allegedly armed with a shotgun.
Armed police were called to the station in South Muirhead Road last night at around 10.30pm.
Strathclyde Police said they entered into dialogue with the man who was later detained by police at about 12.10am this morning.
The 53-year-old man is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Police said no-one was injured in the incident.
