A MAN has admitted plundering his grandmother’s jewellery box 18 times.

Floyd Eaton, from Allanfield in Leith, began the raids on October 1, 2011, by swiping a bangle.

Peebles Sheriff Court was told that over the following seven months he returned to her home in the town’s Murray Place to take another 17 items.

Eaton, 23, denied a further four counts of theft, which was accepted by the Crown. Sentence was deferred for reports.
