Man rescued from fire in block of flats

A MAN was rescued by firefighters after a blaze broke out at a high-rise block of flats.

The fire started in the kitchen of the 15th-storey flat in Burnside Court, Dundee, just after 10pm on Thursday.

Tayside Fire and Rescue Service said one man had to  be rescued. He was treated  for mild smoke inhalation  at the scene.
