Man knocked down by car
An elderly man was taken to hospital after an accident in Corstorphine.
The man is understood to have been knocked over last night and was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment, although his injuries were not thought to be serious.
A police spokesman said: “There was a road traffic collision at 6.30pm on Manse Road in which an elderly gentleman has been knocked down. Because of his age, we are treating this as a serious incident.”
