Man charged over murder of Thai woman at Clyde Auditorium

A MAN has been charged with the murder of a pharmaceutical company boss at an international conference.
The body of Thai national Khanokporn Satjawat, 42, was found at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium venue on Monday afternoon.
Clive Carter, 34, appeared at the city’s sheriff court yesterday charged with murdering the delegate.
Carter, from Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
Delegates from around the world have gathered in Glasgow for the 11th International Congress on Drug Therapy in HIV Infection, which began on Sunday and runs until tomorrow.
Carter will appear in court again on 22 November.
